О назначении нового судьи

Мои сомнения в том, что республиканцы в Сенате соберут достаточное количество голосов для утверждения нового судьи в 2020 году, похоже, оказались необоснованными. Сейчас выглядит так, что нового судью утвердят даже до выборов.

I was unable to find any reference to Romney speaking on the subject. Did he though? Regardless, even if he did, or did not attempt to justify Garland's Senate-block (the way Graham and several others did), it only makes the hypocrisy marginally less apparent. The fact that he didn't play a part in act one doesn't make it any less of a circus when he joins the cast in act two.

Act I was an unconstitutional circus. This would be perfectly normal if not for the previous circus.
