В нашій громаді є один користувач stas, який на почві погодження з Трампом вже багато років створює нарізки з партійної преси про те, як все хуйово при демократах і як все заєбісь при республіканцях. Преса піздлива, про що я йому постійно нагадую; однак він все одно продовжує тянути її до рота, як не дуже розумна мала дитина.

Оскільки в мене немає сил розбирати весь піздьож, періодично я накидаю йому в коментарях натяки на один-два наййобанутіших приклада. Цього разу це розбір промови Гіларі Клінтон, яке у виконанні посилання виглядало так:

Clinton seemingly tried to accuse Republicans of hypocrisy for promoting traditional family structures without endorsing a list of social programs that she believes support childrearing.

She continued by defending immigration’s role in population growth and economic performance

І що ж з цього правда? Нічого!

Подивимося, що ж таки сказала Клінтон:

- What advice do you have for women who feel overwhelmed by our current political system? And it reminds me of a post that you had about reproductive rights – which you write about in your book – and what the Trump administration… you say the Trump administration wants to give you a medal for having six kids. Here is where their concern for children and parents at – and then it goes through what they are doing to the budget with respect to families, child.. income family tax child credit, tax child credit.

What inspiration – what advice do you have for women who feel overwhelmed by our current political system?

- You are not alone! Everybody’s feeling overwhelmed, and, you know, the attack on women’s roles, women’s rights is very much part of this administration’s agenda. We saw, I mean: the first person that Trump actually had fired was the woman commandant of the Coast Guard. Second person he has fired was the Chair of Joint Chiefs, a very distinguished African American Air Force general with lost of combat flying experience. And the third person was the first woman to become the chief of naval operations. So it has continued: there has been a real purging of women and women in high positions in the military and in civilian roles.

But there’s more to that: there’s also this, as I posted the other day, this very blatant effort to basically send a message, most exemplified by Vance and Musk and others, that “You know, what we really need from you, women, are more children. And that really means that you should be going back to doing what you were born to do – which is, to produce more children”.

And they are talking about, you know, cash benefits for children, the more children you have – this has been tried, by the way, in other countries; it has not worked. – or medals, if you have six children. While they are contemplating cutting Medicaid, while they have no interest in paid family leave or funding quality childcare – they are cutting HeadStart. I mean, you go down the list of all the programs that support child-rearing and the care of children, and create some safety net for women who are in the work force: the formal work force as well as, you know, raising children.

So, this is another performance about concerns they allegedly have for family life – but if you have read The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 – despite Trump saying that he knew nothing about it – it’s all in there. It’s all in there: return to family, the nuclear family, return to being a Christian nation, return to, you know, producing a lot of children – which is sorta odd, because the people who produce the most children in our country are immigrants, and they want to deport them. So, none of this adds up; but one of the reasons why our economy did so much better than comparable advanced economies across the world is that because we actually had a replenishment, because we had a lot of immigrants – legally and undocumented – who had a larger than normal (by American standards) family.

So, this is one of their another one of “Make America Great Again by returning to the lifestyles and economic arrangements of not just the 1950es - let’s keep going back as far as we can, and, you know, see what happens”.

So, I find it all to be - you know: there will be great plays written about this. Great! Just wait. I hope somebody out there is working on it, because, I mean, the absurdity of this! We will sit in the audience and go: "What? They said what? They did what?" So we just have to keep speaking out against it.

I'm all for more children, and wouldn't it be nice if we had a society and a government political system that actually valued children and family? That actually, you know, provided support for families, and living wages, and affordable housing, quality affordable childcare - all of that! That would be great. I'm all for that.

That's not their agenda.

а) Республіканці вже скорочують програми, які допомогають дітям
б) Республіканці замість того, щоб подякувати мігрантам за народжуваність, депортують цілі родини.

4. Я сама за підвищення народжуваності

5. Республіканці насправді роблять усе те, що роблять, не заради того, щоб народжуваність підвищувати

Не кажучи про те, що вона не критикувала фокус на родинних цінностях, а взагалі казала, що республіканці роблять геть інше.

Нer comments appear to be a criticism of nuclear family value - жодного разу; в її коментарі про "традіційні сімейні цінності" мова взагалі не йде.

Натомість вона наводить приклади конкретних програм (Medicaid, HeadStart), які вони вже ріжуть, що, з її точки зору, говорить про те, що ані про яку підтримку родини там мова не йде.

She continued by defending immigration’s role in population growth and economic performance - ні, вона просто каже, що імігранти ВЖЕ мають найбільші родини і найбільшу народжуваність в США, за що адміністрація, яка так переймається родинами, їм спасибі.


Тобто, фактично, перекрутили абсолютно все. Ще й дали обрізане відео.

Це ще не зовсім Доренко, але вже десь дуже близько.
