On New Year's Eve, Trump said that he knows "things that other people don't know, and so they cannot be sure of the situation."
Pressed by a reporter for details, Trump said, "You'll find out Tuesday or Wednesday."
But as Wednesday came to a close, Trump hadn't revealed any more details about the hacking of his campaign opponents, admitting only — in a tweet — that "somebody hacked the DNC" and alleging that the Democratic National Committee had weak cyberdefenses.
On Tuesday, however, Trump continued to taunt the U.S. intelligence community about its assessment that Russia was behind the cyberattacks, tweeting, "The 'Intelligence' briefing on so-called 'Russian hacking' was delayed until Friday, perhaps more time needed to build a case. Very strange!"
But there was no delay, according to U.S. officials; the briefing was always scheduled for Friday. [...]
Regardless, U.S. officials said Assange doesn't know what he's talking about.
"There's no way that Assange would have any idea who was behind dropping this information off," said Matt Olsen, a former director of the National Counterterrorism Center and an ABC News contributor. "The Russian intelligence services are clearly capable of hiding their tracks."
US spy chiefs said Thursday that the hacking of Democratic Party computers was just one part of a multifaceted campaign by Russia to disrupt the American presidential election.
In a closely-watched Senate hearing, top intelligence officials presented a united front as they reiterated their conclusion that Moscow interfered with last year's campaign and that its cyber-meddling poses a "major threat" to the United States -- findings that President-elect Donald Trump has so far refused to accept.
"This was a multifaceted campaign. So the hacking was only one part of it, and it also entailed classical propaganda, disinformation, fake news," Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told the Senate hearing.

Нет, это враньё Трампа.
Trump said, "Hillary Clinton and her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy."
There is no evidence to support this. Clinton supporters circulated the rumor in the last days of the 2008 Democratic primary and after Clinton had conceded to Obama. But the record does not show Clinton or her campaign ever promoting the birther theory, let alone starting it.

ФБР? тоже помогало. выборщики, собаки, тоже не проявили принципиальности, проголосовали как роботы. даже Jill Stein со своим пересчетом голосов ничего не добилась (ну, кроме несчастных 5 или 6 миллионов долларов). может, на инагурации Трамп осознает свои ошибки и step down? скажет нет, раз я проиграл в Калифорнии и тем более в родном НЙ, президентом должен быть не я, а человек действительно достойный. и из другой партии вообще. вот это был бы достойный ход

Интересно, как это выглядит из России. Для Путина миллиард долларов - смешные деньги, половина ралдугинской виолончели. Официальный годовой бюджет канала RT - около $300 миллионов, что примерно соответствует бюджету Голоса Америки и Радио "Свобода", вместе взятых. Это притом, что экономика РФ почти в 15 раз меньше, чем экономика США.

That has often included the website InfoWars, which was founded by the right-wing radio host Alex Jones and often publishes conspiracy theories.
Guccifer 2.0 approached Mikael Thalen, a writer for InfoWars, with D.N.C. documents that showed Democrats’ plans for attacking Paul Manafort, a campaign manager to Donald J. Trump who had worked on behalf of the now-deposed Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych, a Kremlin ally.
Mr. Thalen had come to believe, after many interactions with the front groups, that they “would reach out based on who would best carry the story the way they wanted it carried.”
He feared that Moscow was hoping InfoWars, by publishing the files, would muddy the water around accusations against Mr. Manafort, indirectly aiding Mr. Trump’s then-flailing campaign. Breaking with InfoWars’ usual reliance on such files, he declined to publish the documents.
