Северная Корея и Иран

So: the case against the Iran deal, particularly as laid out by Netanyahu today, is that it's not about the deal itself, but about the nature of the Iranian regime.И в других сегодняшних новостях:
As far as I can tell, the argument is that the regime is so fundamentally dishonest about its nuclear asipirations and so committed to obtaining nuclear weapons you can't have any deal with them, even one with inspections/verification, etc...
I think this is a rather weak argument, but here's the thing: if you think it's persuasive, ***everything*** that Netanyahu has said about the Iran regime's weapons program is ever more true about North Korea's!
In other words, it is entirely incoherent (bordering on ludicrous) to hold the position that
1) We must abandon a deal with verified inspections because the Iranians are too untrustworthy, BUT ALSO
2) We can totally do a nuclear deal with North Korea.
#Israel operation findings “consistent with what the United States has long known,” White House says: “#Iran has a robust, clandestine nuclear weapons program that it has tried and failed to hide.”
Present tense.
The White House tells me it has corrected its statement: #Iran had, not has, a “robust, clandestine nuclear weapons program.”
