"Infest" -- это о крысах, тараканах и т.п. обычно. Президент США говорит о нелегальных иммигрантах.

Я на днях видел такую реакцию на высказывания Трампа. Примерно, дословно не стал сейчас искать.

И я подумал, нет ли здесь излишнего нагнетания. И я думаю, что нет. Можно закрывать глаза и делать вид, что ничего страшного не происходит. А можно не закрывать глаза.

Беда в том, что к грязным ботинкам таможенные пошлины не имеют никакого отношения.

Зачем Трампу переживать за меня - понятно: чтоб я за него снова голосовал. А зачем, по-вашему, Трампу канадцы и китайцы? Тоже "калюжин" или как?

А про Канаду он просто сбрехнул глупость. Если китайцам прилетело множество ништяков (от разрыва TPP до отмены корейских учений), то канадцы ничего хорошего от Трампа не видели и не надеются увидеть.
