Democrats are the problem. They don’t care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be, to pour into and infest our Country, like MS-13. They can’t win on their terrible policies, so they view them as potential voters!

"Infest" -- это о крысах, тараканах и т.п. обычно. Президент США говорит о нелегальных иммигрантах.

Я на днях видел такую реакцию на высказывания Трампа. Примерно, дословно не стал сейчас искать.

И я подумал, нет ли здесь излишнего нагнетания. И я думаю, что нет. Можно закрывать глаза и делать вид, что ничего страшного не происходит. А можно не закрывать глаза.

Угу. Был неплохой фильм Hotel Rwanda, - там как раз хорошо показано, как они сами не могут отличить, кто из них Хуту, а кто Тутси. Но cockroaches.
Еще есть забавный немецкий фильм Look Who's Back, и там тоже очарование целой страны неполиткорректным гитлером отлично показано. Как все начинается с шуточек, клоунничанья и "мы-то понимаем", а заканчивается как всегда.

Фильм про сейчас - как будто Гитлер проснулся и вернулся в современную Германию. В том и прелесть (и ужас). Как его сначала держат за клоуна, поощряют (смешно же), а потом упс...
