Trump aides have been clear they see no mechanism for paying Giuliani’s legal bills that isn’t problematic for Trump, and they think Giuliani took actions a lawyer should have known were problematic, even if the client wanted it.

But this is of note in the context of Trump having had a previous lawyer who pleaded guilty and then cooperated with an investigation into Trump.

Подозреваю, что она врёт. Трамп мог бы просто оплатить счета Джулиани на сумму, ЕМНИП, 10 миллионов, которые Руди ему выставил за свои выдающиеся услуги после выборов. Или мог бы ему просто одолжить нужную сумму и потом не потребовать назад. Да и последнее звучит крайне подозрительно, с учетом того что это за публика.

Наверное имеется в виду Коен. Там тоже смешная история была. Коен из своих денег заплатил любовницам Трампа за молчание, а потом Трамп ему эти расходы возмещал, но не сразу, а частями. Если не ошибаюсь, по 10 тысяч в месяц. Когда я узнал про эту историю, у меня сразу возникли сомнения — действительно ли Трамп миллиардер?
