They treated the issue as a PR problem from the start. Consequently, when they can’t pretend that the problem doesn’t exist they have to find an enemy. By the way, note, they already blurted number of giveaways (which are not well designed - such as waving payroll tax) that are bigger in scale than ARA. Do we hear from many “fiscally conservative” people that it is unsustainable? Also there was a lot of noise several years ago about Fed printing money, I wonder where do they hide these screams now? Surely, if Democrats somehow get to power we will not get deaf from constant “debt-inflation-debt-inflation”
