House Intelligence Committee in possession of video, audio recordings from Giuliani associate Lev Parnas

The House Intelligence Committee is in possession of audio and video recordings and photographs provided to the committee by Lev Parnas, an associate of President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, who reportedly played a key role in assisting him in his efforts to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and Ukraine, multiple sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News.

The material submitted to the committee includes audio, video and photos that include Giuliani and Trump. It was unclear what the content depicts and the committees only began accessing the material last week.

"We have subpoenaed Mr. Parnas and Mr. [Igor] Fruman for their records. We would like them to fully comply with those subpoenas," House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff told CNN Sunday, with a committee spokesperson adding they would not elaborate beyond the chairman's comments.

An attorney for Parnas, Joseph A. Bondy, also declined to comment, directing ABC News to a statement released earlier in the day Sunday reading in part, "Mr. Parnas has vociferously and publicly asserted his wish to comply with his previously issued subpoena and to provide the House Intelligence Committee with truthful and important information that is in furtherance of justice, not to obstruct it."

Sources tell ABC News the tapes were provided as part of that congressional subpoena issued to Parnas, and the former Giuliani ally also provided a number of documents both in English and Ukrainian to the committee in two separate productions, sources told ABC News.

However, some of the material sought by congressional investigators is already in possession of federal investigators within the Southern District of New York and thus held up from being turned over, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Parnas' associate, Fruman, has not cooperated with the committee.

Это интересное развитие событий. Паранс, через своего адвоката, уже который день говорит, что готов рассказать Конгрессу и то, и другое, и третье. Проблема с этим, конечно, в том, что Паранс -- свидетель ненадежный. Плюс, он, вероятно, хочет каких-то гарантий, в обмен на показания. Так что, думаю, правильно, что демократы не спешат его вызывать.

Но документы -- это другое дело. С документами защите Трампа спорить будет сложнее. Так что посмотрим.

Что касается "audio, video and photos" -- особенно видео интересно, я не понимаю, как он мог видео снимать, если это он снимал, конечно.

В любом случае, говорить о важности этих документов пока явно рано. Если в них найдется что-то важное, мы об этом скоро узнаем.

И photos and video. Вот вчера сфотографировал... раньше это уже тут обсуждалось, и, вроде, мы пришли к выводу что это muskrat/ондатра.

Интересно, что она там частично плывет подо льдом, и первый раз пытается вынырнуть, еще находясь подо льдом.

Я сразу вспомнил Настю Рыбку, у которой тоже был преступно незамеченный тогда bombshell на Трампа.

Рыбка была арестована, если не ошибаюсь, в Таиланде. Была ли у нее ценная информация, касающаяся контактов Трампа с Дерипаской, мы не знаем, так как Таиланд выдал ее России.

В случае Парнаса, он уже передал документы Конгрессу. О ценности документов мы пока не знаем, но тот факт, что он близко работал с Джулиани и не раз встречался с Трампом, а также работал с Фирташем, не является предметом споров.

Глупо отдавать ценные документы просто так, без надежного договора получить что-то взамен.
И там может оказаться уже собранный компромат на Байдена или вмешательство в 2016 выборы, который демократы не хотели бы предать огласке.

Мне кажется, что обойдя всех свидетелей, парнасов, и рыбок демократы вернутся к старой доброй Сторми. Тут две стопроцентные взятки: (а) та которая Сторми дала Трампу своей неиспорченной натурой, (б) деньги выплаченные Трампом Сторми за молчание, (в) очевидное quid pro quo, и (г) нарушение закона об избирательном финансировании. Кроме того, Трамп отсудил потом у Сторми кучу денег обратно за нарушение соглашения о неразглашении, это получаецца давление на свидетелей.

They granted legal immunity to Weisselberg and later closed their 18-month investigation with the guilty plea of one Trump associate, Michael Cohen. But Weisselberg’s immunity deal applied only to federal proceedings.
Now Vance’s state grand jury is examining whether Weisselberg, among others — and even the Trump Organization — should face state criminal charges for falsification of business records, according to a source familiar with the investigation. Neither Weisselberg nor the Trump Organization responded to requests for comment. Vance, through a spokesman, declined to comment.

David Pecker, the head of the company that publishes the National Enquirer, has spoken with prosecutors with the New York district attorney's office as part of its investigation into the Trump Organization's handling of hush money payments to women who alleged affairs with President Donald Trump, sources with knowledge of the meeting tell CNN.
The America Media Inc. chairman's late October meeting with prosecutors from the major economic crimes bureau could provide key details on discussions that took place involving Stormy Daniels, the adult film star who allegedly had an affair with Trump, and agreements that were made with former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, the sources said.
Cohen is cooperating with the investigation. Pecker is expected to continue talking with prosecutors, sources said.
The meeting between Pecker and the local prosecutors shows that investigators are still trying to connect the dots between Trump and the hush money payments. The meeting could result in Pecker being a potential critical witness down the road in any legal action against Trump or the Trump Organization.

Ондатра. Ее можно спутать с бобром и с нутрией, - но нутрии в ваших краях не водятся (они родом из Бразилии и не приспособлены к холодному климату), а бобр крупнее и у него, главное, - плоский хвост лопатой, а тут - веревка, как у крысы.
