The Kurds are fighting for their land, just so that you understand. They are fighting for their land. And somebody wrote a very, very powerful article today. They did not help us in the Second World War; they did not help use with Normandy as an example; they mention names of different battles... but they were there to help us with their land and that is a different thing.

Про Израиль с палестинцами хорошо получилось. Трампистам-израильтянам на заметку. Если курды с турками -- это как Израиль с палестинцами, то и в другую сторону это тоже ведь работает. Зачем обеспечивать безопасность Израиля и тратить "tremendous amounts of money"? Did Israel help us with Normandy, by the way?

Так вот о with Normandy. Это "very, very powerful article today" -- вот она.

Что интересно, автор статьи хотя бы makes sense. Он говорит, что ну да, курды помогли, но это ж не то, как если бы они нам помогли во Второй Мировой Войне.

Трамп же говорит "they did not help us with Normandy" совершенно серьезно, как о претензии к курдам. Почему? Потому что он настолько глуп, нет тут никакого другого объяснения.

Не в первый, но здесь взято новое дно: одно дело передача неких сообщений грекам через дипломатов и црушников, другое - отказ в одночасье от официальной полугодовой переговорной кампании по достижению сделки между курдами и турками (о которой трубили во все трубы) и оставление курдов на расправу.

Возражение, конечно, ни к селу, ни к городу, но другого у них нет.
