At a recent round table meeting of business executives, & long after formally introducing Tim Cook of Apple, I quickly referred to Tim + Apple as Tim/Apple as an easy way to save time & words. The Fake News was disparagingly all over this, & it became yet another bad Trump story!

Veep is maybe the wrong HBO comparison in this case, President Larry David is the guy who'd be issuing statements about how that faux pas at a party wasn't *really* a faux pas and what's the deal with names anyway.

А не для бенефитов.

Советник должен иметь clearance

Человек, который не в состоянии пройти проверку на clearance и который не имеет для должности советника ни малейшей квалификации, не должен эту должность занимать.

Over the past two years, Mr. Trump has waffled on whether he wanted his children serving in his administration. When he hired John F. Kelly as his chief of staff, a move that Ms. Trump and Mr. Kushner supported at the time, he gave an early directive: “Get rid of my kids; get them back to New York.”
Mr. Trump complained, according to the book, that his children “didn’t know how to play the game” and generated cycles of bad press. Mr. Kelly responded that it would be difficult to fire them, but he and the president agreed that they would make life difficult enough to force the pair to offer their resignations, which the president would then accept.
Ms. Trump and Mr. Kushner, however, have outlasted those plans, and Mr. Trump’s desire for them to leave the West Wing has come and gone in waves, associates said. Mr. Kelly resigned in December, and the couple has only gained in power since his departure.

Неудивительно, что человек, не имеющий ни малейшей квалификации для того, чтобы быть президентом, нанимает жуликов и клоунов в качестве советников. Но налогоплательщики не обязаны это приветствовать.

Журналист сидит в сортире, смотрит на свой продукт и выдумывает диалоги.

Сидя в сортире, Трамп выдумывает и пишет свои твиты.

Журналисты серьезных изданий работают по-другому и перепроверяют информацию от источников, особенно если источники предоставляют эту информацию на условиях анонимности.
