Date: 2017-01-24 04:46 am (UTC)Вот сегодня он встречался с лидерами конгресса, за закрытыми дверями. Рассказывал им про то, что если бы не голоса миллионов нелегалов, он бы выиграл эти выборы и по popular vote тоже.
Я уже порядком устал гадать, что у него в голове творится.

Тут еще забавно, что трамписты в ЖЖ гнут линию, что не имеет значения, насколько убедительно выиграл Трамп, выиграл по правилам, а все остальное -- жалкие оправдания проигравших. И в то же время Трамп все продолжает настаивать на том, что это все имеет огромное значение, вплоть до количества пришедших на инаугурацию.

Now I said it for economic reasons, but if you think about, Mike, if we kept the oil we would probably wouldn’t have ISIS, because that’s where they made their money in the first place. So we should have kept the oil.

But the fact is: we should’ve kept the oil. I believe that this group is going to be one of the most important groups in this country towards making us safe, towards making us winners again. But you can't peddle affirmative, provable falsehoods. And it's not because there's some code of honor among press secretaries, but because once you're a proven liar in public, you can't adequately serve your principal. Every principal needs a spokesman who has the ability, in a crunch, to tell the press something important and know that they'll be believed 100 percent, without reservation.
But like I said, this isn't about Spicer.
What's worrisome is that Spicer wouldn't have blown his credibility with the national press on Day 2 of the administration unless it was vitally important to Trump.
And if media reports about crowd size are so important to Trump that he'd push Spicer out there to lie for him, then it means that all the tinpot-dictator, authoritarian, characterological tics that people worried about during the campaign are still very much active.
