He's under a lot more stress now than 4 or 8 years ago and, relative to what we've seen in the past, he gets very little family support. In his age (78), a person in his circumstances loses not only purely cognitive abilities, but also the so–called executive functions. In short, he's less sharp cognitively and it's more difficult for him to control himself. As the result, he spews more garbage than ever before. And BTW, Paul Manafort, although a scoundrel, was a much better elections advisor than anyone on his current team.
