It’s basically like if you poll a group of 100 men about their wives, after catching them in bed naked with their tennis instructor.

A certain percentage is gonna be like “No way man, she wasn’t cheating, she said it was a new exercise!”.

But out of the rest that believe she was cheating, a percentage will still say “Yeah… well of course she was banging him, but all wives do it, and I love her, so I put up with it because she’s still better than my other options.”

Thats the Trump voter that thinks he’s guilty and still wants to vote for him.

Не совсем так, все же. Ближе всего подходит "не люби ты меня, а полюби ты мое" Федора Михайловича. Если вы чувствуете, что кандидату не дорого то, что дорого вам, вы никогда за него не проголосуете.
