Black Cube: Inside the shadowy Israeli firm accused of trying to undermine the Iran deal

Internal Black Cube documents obtained by NBC News and interviews of sources with direct knowledge of Black Cube’s operations reveal a business intelligence company with governmental contracts and a special department for politically motivated work.

A source familiar with Black Cube’s outreach to the Kahls told NBC News that it was part of an effort to discredit Obama administration officials who had worked on the Iran nuclear deal – and, by extension, the deal itself. Black Cube sought evidence of nefarious behavior, such as financial or sexual impropriety, by the deal's architects, including Colin Kahl. Operatives hoped to obtain such evidence by befriending their targets or their targets’ associates.

Also targeted was Ben Rhodes, a deputy national security adviser under Obama, whose wife, Ann Norris, was approached by a Black Cube operative about consulting on a political drama for TV. Norris had previously worked at the State Department.

The undercover campaign to discredit the Iran deal was first reported by the British newspaper The Observer and by The New Yorker.

In a statement to NBC News, Black Cube said it has no relationship to the Iran nuclear deal.

The same source said the Iran operation was launched just days after President Donald Trump visited Israel in May 2017. The source said he was told that the work was being carried out “for Trump,” but there is no evidence that the Trump administration had anything to do with the operation, which may have been commissioned by an outside group or agency with no connection to the administration. The identity of Black Cube’s client on the Iran work remains a mystery.

"You’ll never find their name on a contract,” the source said. “I can’t prove that it was the administration other than what I was told.”

Вот что хочу отметить. Трамп последние недели две, по-моему, чуть ли не каждый день постит по несколько таких отчаянных твитов -- witch hunt! no collusion! загубленные жизни! проклятый Обама! почему Хиллари Клинтон еще на свободе?!

Вчера, к примеру, он дотвитился до того, что обвинил в collusion с Россией (?) FBI и DOJ.

Тем временем у Часовщика была на днях запись -- "Напугался, бедолага" -- как раз не про Трампа. Запись его о твите бывшего директора ЦРУ, Бреннана.

Просто интересно, если этот один твит Бреннана свидетельствует о его испуге, как все эти твиты Трампа, день за днем, ни о чем подобном в головах трампистов не свидетельствуют?

И о птичках.

Сначала update о совенке, который выпал из гнезда (дупла). Я сегодня был в этом парке (парк -- это несколько громко сказано). Совенка на земле уже нет, а часть дорожки перегорожена. Также висит разъяснение, что часть trail'а закрыта, чтобы "protect baby wildlife", а когда нужда в protection отпадет, откроем снова.

Так что я надеюсь, что совенок is taken care of. Но, к сожалению, теперь посмотреть на совят нельзя, так что их фотографий пока больше не будет.

Сегодня я опять видел журавлей с парой цыплят (если это верный термин для журавлей). Цыплята, по-моему, стали больше, по сравнению с предыдущим разом.



Пока я фотографировал журавлей, за ними все врем летала blackbird и клевала то одного взрослого журавля, то другого. Момента атаки я не сфотографировал, но саму птичку на этих фотографиях видно. В чем тут дело, чем ей журавли не угодили?

Я бы про эту историю и видео сказал, что выглядит все, как розыгрыш. Это практически буквально "Рассказ о неизвестном герое" Маршака. Разве что пожара нет, и этаж четвертый, а не пятый.

Но нет, реальная история. И герой известный -- Mamoudou Gassama, 22 года. В Париж попал из Мали (не знаю каким образом).

P.S. К нашему разговору с ny_quant. Правильно было бы саркастически назвать эту запись "опять в Париже мигратны безобразничают"? Я думаю, что неправильно.

База Трампа расширяется!

Трампистам будет приятно узнать, что к ним присоединился некто the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Well, sort of anyway -- 'Chicago Morning Takeover' Interview - The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Well, that wasn’t the intent of this administration to do a lot of good for us but the nature of this administration is good for us because now, you know, sometimes you think you’re where you’re not. Trump is letting you know where you really stand. And because of Trump’s way, he is an anomaly. There’s never been a president quite like Mr. Trump. But there’s something that he’s doing. I’m going to come out in a few weeks and talk about it. But Trump is destroying every enemy that was an enemy of our rise.

Who is the enemy of our rise? Is it the Department of Justice where we get none? Is it Congress where you make a law that favors us and then you turn around and destroy it? Is it the media that has destroyed every Black leader that stood up for us calling us out of our name? Martin Luther King suffered it. Malcolm X suffered it. W.E.B. DuBois suffered it. Marcus Garvey suffered it. So he’s attacking the media, calling it “fake news.” I don’t think everything is fake. I know very well that we have been the victims of some fake news.

Now, the FBI, go at it, baby. They’ve been beating the hell out of us ever since J. Edgar Hoover and the Counterintelligence Program of the U.S. government. So go ahead, Mr. Trump. But here’s the problem. Mr. Trump, you have to be careful because I did say on a sister station that if we voted for Trump, he’s going to take America to hell on a rocket ship. And America, he thinks, is gaining by the bullying, by the threats. No, Mr. Trump, America is losing. And if America triggers the Third World War, which the Bible calls Armageddon, the America that we know, we shall never, ever know it again. We really need to stop and check because you’re getting the country into deep trouble.
