Трамп сегодня дал интервью любимой "Fox & Friends", где опять же рассказал, что голоса за Graham-Cassidy есть, но один "yes" vote в больнице, поэтому до конца сентября не успеть.

Во-первых, этот "yes" vote не в больнице, а дома.

И странно, что Трамп продолжает повторять про больницу.

Но, как я уже сказал вчера, еще более странно, что Трамп продолжает повторять, что у Graham-Cassidy достаточно голосов.

Я понимаю, что это не самое важное вранье, но это настолько очевидное вранье, что, по-моему, вопросы об адекватности Трампа в этой связи вполне уместны.

Нет ли здесь антисемитизма?

“The whole thing was meant to be funny and lighthearted — which are two things Washington is severely lacking right now,” Rothstein added.

Но особенно мне понравилось выступление звезды reality show "Duck Dynasty", Фила Робертсона. Часть про зачем вам медицинская страховка понравилась. Так что я даже потратил время и записал этот кусок, для тех, у кого нет времени смотреть видео.

Понравилось мне это выступление каким-то запредельным презрением, которое Робертсон демонстрирует в отношении тех несчастных, которые смеются его шуткам и довольно аплодируют.

Чего Вы переживаете о медицинской страховке? У меня 50 лет не было никакой страховки. (А сейчас, выходит, есть? Зачем?) Ну, может врачи смогут продлить Вашу жизнь на несколько лет -- делов-то. Библия обещает вам воскрешение. Так что инвестируйте в вечную страховку, тем более она бесплатная, ха-ха-ха.

При этом Робертсон позиционирует себя, как один из них, a little redneck from Louisiana. И реднеки из Алабамы смотрят на него, слушают его булшит и не понимают, что над ними открыто издеваются.

Healthcare. Big debate. Alabama, for the United States government they are going to take your money to try to make sure three hundred and twenty-five million people have healthcare insurance. We are already twenty trillion in the hole!

You say... Look, I did not have any kind of health insurance for fifty years. None! You say, did your family have healthcare insurance, your mom and dad, your kin folks? We never heard of that.

You say, but what if something had happened? It didn't!

But look, you know why you shouldn't get too concerned about Obamacare or whatever they replace it with, if they replace it? You know why you shouldn't get all exited?

Alabama, any kind of healthcare you get, it's not going to keep you out of a six-foot hole! Right? What if we all go into a six-foot hole anyway, with or without healthcare, you're like... they may slow it down maybe and give you a few more years, you say the dude has said I'm going to die.

Therefore, why don't you all invest in eternal healthcare? Hey, it's already been paid for! Won't cost you a dime! Your body will be resurrected from the grave, I'm like how much does it cost me? It's already been paid for.

I'm going with eternal healthcare. Look, if this book is true, if I get ailments, I will say "Lord, help me with this ailment. And if you don't and you take me now, thank you for that resurrection."
