"concerns raised by intelligence officials" "red flags raised during her background check process" => "у нее папа - русский агент; приказавший Коену соврать Конгрессу" ?
Они бы еще самому Трампу не дали бы clearance.

Высшее должностное лицо действует в рамках своих полномочий.
Неисполнение приказа - в мирное время влечет увольнение с позором и без пенсии, как McCabe.
А в военное и расстрелять у солдатского сортира могут.

Человек, который не в состоянии пройти проверку на clearance и который не имеет для должности советника ни малейшей квалификации, не должен эту должность занимать.

Неудивительно, что человек, не имеющий ни малейшей квалификации для того, чтобы быть президентом, нанимает жуликов и клоунов в качестве советников. Но налогоплательщики не обязаны это приветствовать.

Журналист сидит в сортире, смотрит на свой продукт и выдумывает диалоги.

Сидя в сортире, Трамп выдумывает и пишет свои твиты.

Журналисты серьезных изданий работают по-другому и перепроверяют информацию от источников, особенно если источники предоставляют эту информацию на условиях анонимности.
