Повесть о капитане Копейкине
Не планировал об этом писать, но в данный момент есть время и настроение, так почему бы и не написать.
Значит, про Вайнштейна снова. Арбат-Сапожник задается вопросом -- "Почему, если Вайнштейн пользовал старлеток все 90е и все "нулевые", скандал разгорелся только в 2017 году?"
И сам же дает на него ясный ответ:
Чтобы оценить, насколько идиотским является это объяснение, можно вспомнить, что та же газета, которая broke the story про Вайнштейна -- NY Times -- broke another story. Историю, которая бьет по Хиллари Клинтон не "рикошетом" после другого рикошета в Билла Клинтона -- причем, бьет, в основном, в головах мыслителей, вроде Арбата, -- а бьет напрямую.
Историю, ставшую главной историей последних президентских выборов, что, конечно, является позором американской прессы, -- "Hillary Clinton Used Personal Email Account at State Dept., Possibly Breaking Rules".
Вспомним, как почтмейстер разгадал загадку Чичикова, опознав в нем капитана Копейкина:
Затрамповскому ЖЖижисту и в голову не придет называть себя публично при всех телятиной. Он сразу перейдет в состояние, на переход в которое почтмейстеру потребовалась целая минута. То есть моментально начнет хитрить и пробовать вывернуться.
Значит, про Вайнштейна снова. Арбат-Сапожник задается вопросом -- "Почему, если Вайнштейн пользовал старлеток все 90е и все "нулевые", скандал разгорелся только в 2017 году?"

"Оказывается, все просто: все эти годы фактической "крышей" Вайнштейна выступал... Билл Клинтон, а точнее - чета Клинтонов! [...]Это, конечно, идиотизм, причем рассчитанный на идиотов. Хотя тот же Сапожник -- не идиот, ему просто безразлично, правда-вранье, звучит броско -- нужно постить.
А в "нулевые" и большую часть "десятых" раздувать скандал было бы тем более нельзя - потому что это опять же рикошетом ударило бы по Биллу и через него - по шансам Хиллари, как жены "харассера" и насильника.

Однако ж минуту спустя он тут же стал хитрить и попробовал было вывернуться, говоря, что, впрочем, в Англии очень усовершенствована механика, что видно по газетам, как один изобрел деревянные ноги таким образом, что при одном прикосновении к незаметной пружинке уносили эти ноги человека бог знает в какие места, так что после нигде и отыскать его нельзя было.

В том, что Clinton Foundation брала деньги на благотворительность, нет ничего предосудительного.
Не сравнить с обыкновением Трампа брать деньги, собранные Eric Trump Foundation на благотворительность (детей, больных раком) и класть их в свой карман.

Golf charity experts say the listed expenses defy any reasonable cost justification for a one-day golf tournament.
Additionally, the Donald J. Trump Foundation, which has come under previous scrutiny for self-dealing and advancing the interests of its namesake rather than those of charity, apparently used the Eric Trump Foundation to funnel $100,000 in donations into revenue for the Trump Organization.
And while donors to the Eric Trump Foundation were told their money was going to help sick kids, more than $500,000 was re-donated to other charities, many of which were connected to Trump family members or interests, including at least four groups that subsequently paid to hold golf tournaments at Trump courses.
All of this seems to defy federal tax rules and state laws that ban self-dealing and misleading donors.

“I would note that those (shares) were sold at least 18 months before Hillary Clinton became the secretary of state. No one was speculating at that time that she would become the secretary of state,” he said.

В центральной партийной прессе ведь зря не напишут. Жаль только не объяснили, перед тем как перевести стрелки на Трампа, почему она забыла disclose those bribes, excuse me, donations: то ли по забывчивости, то ли по случайному совпадению то ли она вообще на все законы и правила болт забила, чему email server был бы хорошим подтверждением.
