О Путине
Трамп посетил G20 summit. Как обычно, наговорил много такого, что сложно охарактеризовать иначе, чем "пиздец какой-то.
Вот о Путине:
Ну, и to be fair, если Трамп с Ыном fell in love, то назвать Путина "a good person" уж сам бог велел.
И вот пара эпизодов, которые демонстрируют не столько даже поразительную глупость Трампа, хотя и это тоже, сколько его полное безразличие ко всему, что не касается его самым непосредственным образом.
Трамп, видимо, считает, что "busing" -- это просто что-то о том, как детям добраться до школы -- "certainly a primary method of getting people to schools."
Немного о черепахах и лягушках. Вот вчерашняя painted turtle.
А это сегодняшняя american toad, вроде бы. Очень сложно его заметить, сливается с листьями на земле.

1. Этот делал премьер-министр Японии. Не по своей инициативе, а по настойчивой просьбе Белого дома.
Trump boasted at a news conference on Friday that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe had given him a copy of a five-page letter he'd sent to the Norwegian Nobel Committee, which selects the annual Peace Prize laureates.
Referring to Abe, Trump said: "He said: 'I have nominated you, respectfully, on behalf of Japan. I am asking them to give you the Nobel Peace Prize.' I said, 'Thank you.'"
The national newspaper Asahi Shimbun, citing multiple Japanese government sources, reported Sunday that the U.S. government "informally" asked Japan to nominate Trump after he met with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore last year.
At a meeting of the lower house of Japan's parliament on Monday, Abe said he wouldn't comment on the report because Peace Prize nominations are secret for 50 years. But he did say: "I'm not saying it's not true."

Говорят Гугль возвращает разные результаты поиска на один и тот же запрос в зависимости от того к какому классу отнесён пользователь. Поскольку все мы получаем информацию из электронных сми то таким образом Гугль рулит миром.

Что касается ссылок: Washington Times ссылается на Fox News, где о Нобеле для Трампа высказался один из комментаторов. На CNN другой комментатор предположил, что своими действиями Трамп пытается заработать себе премию, но отнёсся к этому скептически.
LEMON: He always seems that he is enthralled by Kim. What's so -- I mean, it sounds like some sort of strange desperation, what's going on here?
ZAKARIA: It feels exactly like that. It feels like how not to try to get high school date. Right? Rule number one, don't seem too eager. The problem here is twofold. One, Donald Trump has decided that this is his path to a Nobel Peace prize. I'm convinced of it. That's why he exaggerated the crisis then tried to swoop in as the savior.
When that didn't work, you know, he tried doing another summit. He is desperate to somehow make this work. And in doing that, he is revealing to the North Koreans that he is too eager to get a deal. And that is the second problem.
This is diplomacy 101, don't seem so eager. Trump seems to think that if only he and Kim could get together, they could have a deal. No, the North Koreans have very deep structural reasons why they don't want to give up their nuclear weapons. They view it as the insurance to keep this regime alive. You know, having a nice meeting at the DMZ with Donald Trump is not going to change that.
LEMON: Good pictures for him though.
ZAKARIA: Well, it's good pictures for him but he needs to understands that it is going to fail if the goal is to denuclearize North Korea. You know, foreign policy is not a branch of psychotherapy.
