Let’s be clear about this: We are halting a planned military exercise in order to persuade the North Koreans to go through with a summit they have spent 20 years asking for.

Of course, just because the US is giving North Korea concessions doesn’t necessarily make this bad or wrong. Sometimes conceding stuff can be good! But it’s weird how often this gets portrays as Trump strong-arming Kim, when in reality it’s the exact opposite.
