Вчера пресс-секретарь Трампа, Спайсер, сказал, что Флинн уволился/был уволен, в связи с потерей доверия Трампа:

“The evolving and eroding level of trust as a result of this situation and a series of other questionable instances is what led the president to ask for General Flynn’s resignation,”

Сам же Трамп сегодня не говорит ничего подобного, а только нахваливает Флинна. Например (via

And I think it’s really a sad thing that he was treated so badly. I think, in addition to that, from intelligence -- papers are being leaked, things are being leaked. Мне кажется, стоит об этом помнить, когда, например, тот же Спайсер говорит о том, что Trump has been very tough on Russia, и, вообще, наша позиция -- Россия должна вернуть Крым Украине.
