По-моему, это очень хороший пример того, о чем говорится в моей предыдущей записи, "Having it both many ways".

It’s almost impossible to even debate the policy in this circumstance. If one side says it’s a deterrent, one side says it’s an unavoidable accident, and a third says it’s technically not happening, and they’re all the same side, there’s no way to actually discuss the merits.

И, опять же, если ты "умный трампист", ты самостоятельно выбираешь симпатичную тебе версию, и решаешь, что именно она и есть настоящей, а остальные -- шоу для дураков.

А. Тот факт, что в данном случае администрация занимается не более чем жестоким law enforcement совершенно не мешает ей врать по ходу дела. Не могу сказать, что я шокирован.
